Trevor and the QHHS Cross Country team had a great season this year. They were undefeated Golden League Champs and made it to CIF Preliminaries. Unfortunately - because of heat and bad air quality due to several fires burning in the area, they had to shorten the course from 3 to 2 miles. They took out two of the hardest hills on the course, which you'd think would be good, but for our boys that thrive on those hills where others tire; it wasn't really good for them. They train all year for a 3 mile hilly race and so it's really hard to change up the strategy on the fly like that. It was good for some teams and not so good for others. They did not advance to CIF Finals, but they had a really great season and look forward to being back there again next year :)!
